About Me

hi my name is Mwaanga, am married and I come from a family of 4 girls. Life was very interesting growing up. I did my primary education and later completed my secondary education. One thing that i can recount as a hardship was going to college but by God's grace I managed to complete a Diploma in Social Work. Apart from being an entrepreneur, my interest is to help the needy in society and also work with children.I have 4 kids, the first born girl wants to become a medical doctor, my second born son wants to become a lawyer and the other two are still young. In my free time i enjoy singing and spending time with my family.

My Business

I am currently employed and I have been working for more than five years and I normally spend my salary on food and any support to my family. At the same time I run small businesses of selling rice at home and also supplying of books and smoking fish. I chose this kind of business because I noticed that people need food everyday. My source of income is my current job and any help rendered to me will be highly appreciated. The demand for food is high and with bigger capital my business will grow from one level to another.

Loan Proposal

Dear lenders, I need a loan to enable me buy fish which I process through smoking to add value then I sell at a profit. If I buy fresh breams for about K2,000 am able to make a profit of 50% and all profit made will have to be reinvested in the business. Fish is on demand and so am very positive that I will be able to realise some profit from this business.

Income Source

I am grateful to Zidisha and I will ensure that I repay this loan. My source of income is my business of selling smoked fish and also rice. With these two sources of income am very positive that no matter what the economy will bring food is a priority to people so they will still buy.

Loan was originally scheduled to take eight months. Four months of payments were missed but the loan was paid off after about eleven months. I wish you continued success.
