I do my own business in a the village called Kofiasua,a small town near Dormaa Ahenkro . My father was a poor farmer whose income was to small to go into cash crops. He grows cassava, pepper, plantain and so many tins for sale in Dormaa Ahenkro market. He hired a store for me to begin business, this because he told me he will not be able to afford University Education. After Senior High School he took me to a nearby bank ( WAMFIE RURAL BANK Ltd) and took a loan worth GHS3000 and cautioned me to work hard to repay the loan. Fortunately, things went well for me to pay the loan I sell Milo, milk, Fanta, coca-cola and so many tins. I work hard to let my children go to Senior high School to become useful to society.
I sell general goods like Tin Tomatoes, sugar, soaps. Kumasi has many goods at cheaper prices to earn more profits but because the only nearest place you could get these so quickly is Berekum. I once visited a shop in Suyani that sell goods like mine. I could not believe my eyes the sort of customers who hard queued to buy things from this very shop. It motivated me to go into this venture one day and that is what I am engaged in now.I make a minimum sales of ghc300 a day. I do not have any source of income therefore it the profit I make from the sale of these items that makes me earn a living to cater for my kids.
I will buy mosquito sprays ($29), two box of milk ($36), five crate of malt ($32),Three crate of Fanta ($19) .
