My name is Simon Njenga.I was born in 1981, in Githunguchu village Nyandarua county.I went in Githunguchu primary and later joined Githunguchu secondary school. My children hood life was very tough. but after school I started a small business in the nearby town. where i was given $10 by my older brother to start a business. I have been in the business for about 10 years now. Im paying a business permit of $80 in Nyahururu town where i locate my business at the moment.
my business is in Nyahururu town laikipia county. I have managed to build a good relationship with my customers so I usually gets a good profit. I use my profit to pay my children's school fees and grow my business by adding more stock. also I improve my home where we live with my family, but most importantly I still share the profit by the society by buying a nearby childrens home Shoes and clothes. I support the children homes to in laikipia county.
Once I receive my loan I buy men sports shoes.A dozen cost ksh 12000. So each cost ksh 1000.so in a dozen I will make a profit of ksh 400 in each shoe that is ksh 4800in a dozen. I take ksh 60000 and buy 50dozen. So I will make ksh24000 in above amount.
Next I will buy ladies shoes adozen cost ksh9600 each shoe cost ksh800.I make a profit of ksh300 in a pair. I take ksh 38400and buy 4 dozen. So I will a profit of ksh14400.
Lastly I buy men jeans. Adozen cost ksh9000. Each cost ksh750.I buy 3 dozen costing ksh27000.I will make a profit of ksh ksh250 in each pair so in 3 dozens I will a profit of ksh 9000.
