Hello, I am Pape Matar Sonko. I am Senegalese, thirty years old and single with no children. I have three brothers and two sisters. One of my sisters is currently in Italy, and the other lives with our mother. I have a License 2 in international business, and I studied for one year at the University of Cheikh Anta Diop in Dakar taking legal studies courses. I also trained in entrepreneurship with the American NGO the SEM Fund. After the training, the SEM Fund took me on as a distributor of their products: solar lamps, Ecosacs (an isothermic bag) and improved cooking stoves.

After training, with the SEM Fund took me on as a distributor of their products: solar lamps, Ecosacs (an isothermic bag) and improved cooking stoves. I would like to partner with the SEM Fund to buy solar lamps for resale. There is a strong demand for solar lamps because of frequent electricity outages. These lamps are also beneficial because they use renewable energy powered in part by the sun. There are three types of lamps: mobile, pro2 and eco. The prices range from 27,000 FCFA to 10,500 FCFA.

I want to buy solar lamps to resell them in the market. I work with a non-governmental organization called the SEM Fund. This NGO acts as a distributor of lamps and other solar products. When I sell the lamps, I will earn a commission and be able to repay an old loan and take a new one.
