My name is Victoria Victoria aged 45 years old and Zambian by citizen.
Iam a mother of 3 children and I live with my husband.
I started my primary course at Chilanga Basic School and completed successfully.
Later qualified into secondary school or high school which I also completed and obtained my 12 grade certificate.
I hold a Diploma in Quality Assurance and am a member of ZICA, Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants. currently am working with Zambia Breweries corporation limited ZB as Lab Superintendent, I was engaged in 2015 to date, after living Chilanga Cement Plc.
Due to the passion I have in entrepreneurship business I have a business which am running also in our community, which I want develop to grow big and create jobs for the up coming generation.
Our culture believed in early marrieges for young girls and they tend to drop out of school due to our culture that has been a great hazard. They are only forced to get married leave school at a tender age.
It is my wish and prayer that once my children grow up, I will encorage them to go to school and graduate to make a big difference in our community and change the mind set of parents and the outdated culture that has deprived of
many children the right to education.
During my free time, I love travelling, watching tv and sports activities to keep fit.
I have a shop and am involved in two businesses of baking cup cakes, cakes, flutters, wedding cakes and birthdays cakes and Salon business. I sell mamas bakers daily and weekly because I receive orders on a daily basis. These goods are highly on demand due to marriage functions and birthday parties. I also do offer services on wedding decorations. I choose this type of business because it is on demand and highly profitable.
As for salon shop, I offer services such plating hair, barbing to beautify the people because they want to look fine. I offer quality services especially for women who mostly love beauty parlor and looking beauty, therefore by so doing, I earn good income out of the services I offer.
Therefore the profits made I help vulnerable children in orphanage centers in our community. This is because I have had the passion since I was a child, looking at how children drop out of school, especially a girl child who so vulnerable due to our culture that supports early marriages to a girl child.
It is my desire to support my fellow girl child in need when am better by taking back to the community. The cost of business is almost ZMW 25,000.00 and my weekly profits after sales comes to ZMW 8500 to ZMW 10,200.00
The profits are used to help vulnerable children by paying their school fees, buy books and school uniforms and also buy food staffs for them as well as supporting my family and my three children who are still in school at the moment.
Following the demand and good response of customers to the services and baking products. I need at least the funds to support me in buying additional wig in the salon due to high demand and as for the baking of function cakes for weddings and kitchen parties, I need a bigger cooker stove with a woven for baking. As this will enable me to have good income to support the vulnerable children in our community and also suppprt my family.
