Hello,my name is Beatrice,my friends call me Betty.I am a proud mom to girls and 2 gents.I have been a single mom from 2013,after my husband married another wife.Currently I stay in Katani area,Machakos County.

My hobbies are hairstyling and makeup,hence I started a salon business to make people feel better about themselves,as I have been passionate about it for a long time.

For a long time I have been a house assistant and it has helped me as a stepping stone to where I am now,from my savings I have been able to grow my business slowly but surely,making sure to instill the value of hardwork to my children while I strive to provide for them.

My salon provides hairdressing,styling,nail polish and a cosmetic shop to our clients.I strive to offer my rates at affordable competitive prices and that has helped me gained loyal customer base.

Since I am self taught,my main motivation was to also lend a helping hand to other young talent within my area as well;male or female.Currently I have one employee who is a single mom like myself,taken her under my wings and taught her the job.

My profits,I use to sustain my family,pay my employee,rent and save for reinvesting in the salon

the funds will help me add new inventory in my shop offering extra income from clients.the profits will help me prepare for new school year coming January.Also,I am preparing to take in another salon student in January and this boost can help a dream come alive,to empower them
