My name is Protansio Simukoko a very ambitious Zambia young man. I was born on 18th June, 2000. I went to Chibelo Primary School in Lusaka where I did my primary school. Later after completing my primary, I did qualify to my high schoole education at Chongwe Boarding School for Boys where I completed my grade 12 successfully and obtained good school results.
Hardships; after completing school, I have always wanted to enroll in college or university but due to lack of funds, I was deprived of the opportunity to study in the university due to the death of both my parents that made it difficulty for me to achieve my life goals in good time without encountering life challenges that I went through. Nevertheless, I kept on soldiering on to look for small jobs until I joined a take away and restaurant where I was employed as a waiter. I worked there for 2 years and proved hard working and my Boss promoted me to a cashier in the restaurant. At this point I had the privilege to learn more of my job and everything I was doing in the restaurant.
Due to my hard work my Boss saw potential in me and sponsored me to go to school to study hospitality Management. Having graduated with a Diploma and gained vast experience in hospitality industry, I decided to open a small restaurant of my own in Kabwata Market, where I offer different types of food recipe to people around the market of our community.
While our land is a land of unity and a land of working together, a land of peace of unity. Most of the people have the freedom of speech, right to go to school and right of freedom and gender equality, where both men and women have equal job opportunity.
I wish my children to get better education and go to colleges and universities of their choice. I want them to get better jobs and become prominent people in our Zambian society and make me a proud father.
I ran a small restaurant and I offer different types of food recipe and these; boiled fish, fried fish and nshima, boiled chicken, fried chicken, grilled chicken as per customers preference, T-bone, dry fish, pork chop, beef stew, offal's, beans and fiber foods. Mainly, I need funds to support me in securing restaurant chairs, serving pans, pots, plates, restaurant tables which the restaurant is lacking at the moment, I also need the Shawarma machine which most customers constantly have continued to ask, I feel once am supported in this area my restaurant will be making a lot income and will attract more customers to come to buy and eat our food recipes.
In food business, you cannot go wrong because most people love to eat food whenever they are hungry during lunch hours and morning hours for their breakfast and lunch. Therefore, I a total of K 60,000.00 to purchase the restaurant chairs, tables and serving pan and the Shawarma machine which is on very high demand.
Food restaurant and take away, I saw a great opportunity of making good income and build a good future for my self, family and children, also create job opportunity for my fellow youths who are not in employment in our community.
Am proposing to buy the restaurant serving pans, chairs and tables that am truely lacking at the restaurant. At my restaurant customers are coming in good numbrer and the sitting arrangements is giving me challenges because other customers have ro wait for other to finish eating which is not giving me but to lobby for funds from you my backers to support me to improve the good preparation and the sitting arrangements to cater for the customers and in the benefit more from the business they are bring me at the restaurant and make more income to grow the business.
