hello zidisha community....Am samuel maina kamau born and raised in nairobi kenya..growing up was tuff being in and out of school due to lack of fees which at times forced me to sneak into school hopeing i wount get caught as i tried to quench my thirst for eduction

i was able to finish my primary and secondary education though it took longer than expected..

After finishing my secondary education i had to work in construction sites so as to raise mone to join colleges and study hotel management the experience helped me understand about money and more importantly saveing.

After 2 years i joined college where i did hotel and catering management the college experience was amazing getting a few jobs and not haveing to break , back to get some money.for sure i thought this was it finish college get a nice job build a nice home for my parents..

After finishing i looked for a position close to 5 years without getting any favourable postions that had good working conditions thats when i decided to venture into becomeing self employed

i opened a retail shop whereby i deal with household goods includeing vegetables...At first i opened a small space since i had little capital but gently the business grew since i would source goods a favourable prices then sell at less than 5% profit..this really helped me sell more items hence making more profit in general..

i started getting tenders from neighbouring schools but due to lack of funds am unable to fully meet the demand..am graefull that am able to employ 2 people at the shop and was able to acquire a motorbike to help with the deliveries..

i am blessed with 2 kids and i am able to take them to school take care of my parents while i slowl

y expand the bussiness...

hello backers i will use the funds to buy motorbike..this will help with moving goods from the shop direct to the customers..while also helping me to easily look for more orders without worring about the distance
