My name is Bessie Chongwe. I live in Mansa. I worked as a nurse in the mining town of Kitwe for over 30 years and now i grow vegetables at my farm.

I plant various types of vegetables, like spinach, rape, tomatoes and cabbages. I use the money from the sale of the vegetables to buy animals, such as goats and cows.

I plan to use the loan to purchase bags of fertilizers for my maize crop.

I have planted maize and now i plan to apply fertilizers.
