I'm truly grateful to Zidisha for providing this platform. Here's my journey with KUKU DEN poultry farm.
In 2020, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, I ventured into poultry business, driven by the need for financial stability, especially with my wife expecting. Capital was a challenge, and I had previous business loans to repay. With the support of family and friends, I secured 90% of the capital needed, enabling me to acquire 1000 chiks and feeds.
Within a month of starting, a nationwide lockdown started forcing me to be home fulltime.
I'm determined to succeed and provide top-notch customer service. I even assessed competitors to improve my own operations. Despite the hurdles, my commitment remains unwavering.
Kuku den is a poultry farm producing eggs, one day old chiks and broiler chiken meat.
My aim is to supply eggs chiken meat to local hotels and families hopping to fight malnutrition among children and also sell at affordable price.
I make a profit of 2 to 5000 Kenya shillings which I spend on family upkeep, raising my kids and my family back at home.
My intention is to use the funds in buying of quality chiken feeds for my layers, this will boost my chiken health and eggs production.
Thank you for always being their when in need. God bless you and family.
