All thanks to Zidisha organisation for giving me this opportunity to introduce myself and be part of this big community. I am Francis Mulenga, I went to school during my childhood upbringing from primary to secondary school. I finish my education by God's grace.. even though it was not that easy.
After school my parents taught me some skills in business, because my Father was an entrepreneur, looking at how was doing in his business, he brought me closer to him and tought me and he made sure I have become business minded. Through the hard working of my parents I managed to pull through.
After my father had given me business Ideas, I asked him to give me some money so that I can start up a small business than relaying on him and it please my father to hear this, so he decided to give me money and I started with selling food stuffs even though it was not that easy.. with time I adapted and grew stronger in selling food stuffs. As time went on, I tried different business but it was not easy to pull through untill in 2017 i decided to venture into phone selling. My business was growing even though I didn't have enough money to buy more phone accessories... And because of city life, the same sales came the sales was used to provide food at home and and COVID 19 make it difficult to survive.
When I shift from town to rural area I saw a different angle and something started happening with little money I had I was growing it beat by beat until something good happened.
The land is unique because of the way people of North Western province are, are humble and hardworking. My business became new in the area as I brought phone accessories near.
I have 4 children because of hardship I couldn't manage to send my childhood to higher education level but I am doing everything possible to manage my children to become better people on the society. Their dreams are different, some wants to be doctor other one wants to be lawyers and other wants to become an engineer. I am sure this will be done.
With hardworking and determination, I learnt to be humble and hardworking, I used to spend my time study and reading books. My parents brought us in a way that we will never suffer. In my spare time I used to swim and play football. Above all I love reading different books.
The good and services I offer is phones accessories.
Because the area where I am is far from the city and It took time for someone to access phone accessories. I have brought it closer to them and this makes the goods to be on demands.
I chose this kind of business, because many people just to buy a phone or phone accessories they have to move a long distance, with me bringing this business closer to them makes it easy for them to buy near and it is on demands are few people selling phone accessories in my area.
This it depends on how business is and goods involves... Probably currently it is about 2500.
After sales profit I make I reinvest as I don't small child that can need small amounts of money...most of my kids are grown up and the kind of money needed for their tertiary school is huge, this makes me reinvest some of the profit made and also sort some things at home to keep home running.

The funds will be used to buy some items to be added unto my shop in order to increase the capacity building and grow my business. Am sure it will help me in one way of the other.
