Let me introduce myself, my name is Eko Edi Prawoto, I am 42 years old. I am married with 2 children. I was born in Gedangalas Village, Gajah District, Demak Regency. My childhood was in that area. I went to elementary school to junior high school in Demak. After graduating from junior high school, I continued my high school in Semarang and continued my studies at Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta, graduating in 2001. After graduating, I worked at a developer for 5 years. And after I left my job, I tried to build my own business starting from a bakery, motorbike repair shop, and buying and selling motorbikes. But all of these businesses went bankrupt. Finally, all my businesses closed and 3 years ago I was determined to build another business. With the guidance of a friend, I finally chose a batik stamp business. But at the beginning of 2020 when the Covid-19 pandemic occurred, my batik stamp business was no longer in production because there were no orders from buyers. So my batok stamp business stopped and could no longer produce, which greatly affected my source of income. And finally I didn't I could continue my batik business because I ran out of capital. Then at the end of 2022 I helped my brother who had a wood buying and selling business. And at the beginning of 2024 I dared to open my own business, namely buying and selling teak, mahogany and mindi wood logs.
Currently my business is buying and selling teak, mahogany and mindi logs that I started 1 year ago. Now my business has grown and made significant progress. Currently I have 2 employees. And my current turnover per week is IDR 75,000,000 -100,000,000, the net profit every week that I get from the business is around IDR 3,000,000-4,000,000. From this profit I can meet all the needs of my family, including household needs for daily needs and the needs of my children. Besides that, it is also to finance the school needs and college needs of my children.
If I get the funds later, I will use it to develop my wood business which has been running for 1 year. With the increase in capital, it will automatically have a good impact on the development of my teak wood buying and selling business. So that we can supply more smoothly to furniture craftsmen. With the increase in capital, it will be very useful for me because I can provide more goods so that shipping to furniture craftsmen will be smoother. The impact of the development of the business for the family is that family welfare increases. With the development of the business, the impact felt by my community is the increase in their income, if their income increases, family welfare is automatically fulfilled
