My name is Gerald Mwaijande from Tanga, Tanzania. I completed my studies and decided to employ myself due to the unemployment problem that most youths are facing in our country. After seeking for jobs with no hope I went back to my community and find problems that I could solve.
That being the case, I found that there were alot of mothers having problems on getting enough milk for lactacting their babies and from a Research I found that the leaves of Moringa oleifera plant also known as "The Miracle Tree" when processed can increase milk production. Not only that but it plays a great role in combating malnutrition and also promoting good health and wellness.
Hence, in year 2018 I started producing the powder at small scale and the results were promising. I started getting orders from different places. It was too much Work for one person so i employed my fellow youths so that they could also help their families.
The challenge that my Business currently faces is on production. The machine that we are currently using does not meet the on going demand. Therefore I need a loan of 125 dollars to be able to buy a bigger powder grinding machine that will increase production hence meeting a large number of People in our community that faces Malnutrition.
I hope my business will be funded and I will make a positive health impact on people in the community as well as providing employment for more youths. Thank you.
