I was born in 1989 in Kangemi. My mother was a single mother and she passed away when I was 7 years old. She used to be a teacher at St Martins Kangemi, and so that's how I ended up being enrolled there in class 1. The institution sponsored me through my primary, secondary and university education.
Immediately after high school, I joined Griffins College and pursued a certificate in computers. Afterwards I joined Kenyatta University and pursued a degree in education. I started my business while I was in campus from money I used to make out of offering tuition classes to secondary students. From the money I get from my business, I cater for my basic needs and save for expanding my business. I like socializing, dancing and teaching.
Since I started my business it's grown due to the quality service I offer my clients: the cybercafe is always full. I also offer computer classes to interested people at affordable rates and I am also employed at Parklands Arya Girls High School as a teacher, so making ends meet is not such a big challenge because I always have enough to sustain my needs and save.
My big challenge in business is when customers come and I am forced to send them away because my business premise is full. That's why I need the Zidisha funds so I may add to my savings and buy more computers for my business.
From the amount of Ksh50,000 I will enroll for my MASTERS DEGREE for I wish to further my education for education is future and as a teacher by profession I will be able to stabilize my career and my business thanks.
