Creating a Mental Health application Project
I'm a technology leader working on developing African centered technologies.
We are developing a new video conferencing platform tailored for African market.
I'm also into Al and natural language processing whereas we are developing models to enable the translation of indigenous African languages.
Currently I have a number of projects including developing a mental health application which will enable users have access to culturally sensitive mental healthcare and be part of a community which cares about them.
There is no robust mental health community which brings together Black mental health professionals from all over the world and Black Mental Health Matters is working towards filling this gap.
All our projects are volunteer driven as the organization doesn't have any sponsors yet.
I believe that through your support we will be able to build a virtual mental health clinic for people in Africa and in the diaspora to have resources to better manage their mental health.
Our goal is to provide a virtual environment where healing is encouraged and mental health is the first priority.
With your support we will achieve this for greater common good of humanity struggling with the stigma which comes with mental health.
Dear Supporters,
I am deeply grateful for the support you’ve shown in my previous project. As the CEO of Black Mental Health Matters Inc., I am reaching out to raise funds for an upcoming trip to the United States. This journey is vital to expanding our mission to raise awareness about mental health, reduce stigma, and promote open dialogue within the Black community.
The funds raised will cover the costs of my visa and airfare. This business trip is essential for the growth and development of our organization. While in the U.S., I will meet with our volunteers, mental health professionals, and key industry stakeholders to secure resources that will drive forward mental health research and our innovative projects, which aim to leverage the power of AI for improved mental health outcomes.
Thank you once again for your continued support.
Warm regards,
Daniel Mwambonu
