My name is Abrefa Samuel a resident of Kumasi. I was born and bred in Kumasi a suburb called Ash town. We are four siblings and i happen to be the only male. I lived with my parents and sisters in the same house until i had to leave for the boarding house . i had my basic education at Ash town R/C primary and jhs. From there, i went to Dormaa senior high. Then to the university where i read business management. But my problems started when i met a lady and wanted to marry her. My parents didnt agree with the idea and disowned me when i went ahead with the marriage. after the marriage things started to get tough for my wife and i . Things even got tougher when we gave birth to our daughter who is six years old now. She wants to be a nurse in future. My wife sometimes had to go to her parents for food for us. This went on for sometime until i had a job as a manager in a textile shop. I worked hard and served the owner with all my heart, so out of gratitude, he gave me money to open my own textile shop. Now i make profit of 300 GHS a month which i hope to increase when given the loan. What is unique about Kumasi is the Sofoline interchange. My hobby is going for a bicycle ride.

I am in the textile business. what i do is to sell the beautiful African textiles to both Ghanaians and foreigners who come to Ghana as tourists. I chose this kind of business because i always want to portray the African culture through our colorful textiles and because its very lucrative in terms of profitability. Though my shop is a new shop and some how small, i make profit of about 300 ghs a month. Things are not easy for me because i pay my child's school fees out of this profit and also, from the same profit, i pay rent, bills and food for the house. So if i get this loan hopefully, i used the loan to buy more textiles so that i can increase my profit. I will be able to pay my daughter's school fees , my bills and cater for the house and feel at ease.

If this loan is granted, i would use 180 dollars to purchase more textiles to expand shop and 20 dollars will be used to pay my daughter's school fees. This loan will help me expand my textiles shop and pay my child's school fees. Customers will troop in and out of the shop to buy textiles of their choice. This would increase my profit margin from 300 GHS a month to about 800 GHS a month.
