Growing up in a country like mine where graduate unemployment is on the rise, I decided to turn my interest in bead making into an employment opportunity for myself and others.
After 3 years of bead making I developed an interest in fine jewelry and now learning and developing new skills in the field.
Fashion is a fast growning industry all around the world . It is a very promising one with very high demands since clothing is a basic human need. I want to promote African fashion especially beaded accessories. Through my Zidisha loans, I have been able to fund my business advertisements on social media and widen my customer base by 250%. My goal is to expand my business to a world class beaded accessory and jewellery production company. The profit I make is reinvested into buying more raw materials and equipment to increase production.
Eyewear is another fashion accessory usually worn with jewelry. With this loan I would like to invest in Eyewear designs to expand my business further. 70% of this amount will be used to buy inventory and the rest for marketing and advertising purposes.
