my name is Amos Oketch i was born and raised up in Kenya in the Coast province Mombasa district. i was born in june 27 1980. i was born in a family of six that is one girl and five brothers. i am the second born in my family. i was taken to kisauni primary school where i did my primary education and later joined serani boys for secondary education. i managed to complete my high school studies and joined the Kenya red cross as a volunteer person to help the society during disasters. i have been a member of the Kenya red cross to date although i run a business and am also employed as an emergency medical technician at Mewa Hospital. i love working hard and making a positive change in the society at large.
Due to my hard work i managed to open a retail shop two years ago. i deal in household supplies. i decided to venture into the business after i saw my people having a difficult time getting the services because there are no shops around. i decided to take up the initiative and opened one and employed a young man who runs it when i am not around. it has been working out well whereby my typical monthly sales are 80,000. That is 50,000 purchases , 15000 expenses and 15000 profits. This has enabled to pay for my siblings fees who are in college and one is in high school. i am also able to pay rent, revenue, utility bills and my shopkeeper while saving some money for my future expenses.
Thank you once again dear lenders for this second chance. I do take this opportunity to post my second loan propasal because my first loan has really transformed my business. my sales have grown steadily and i am more than greatful to the entire zidisha family. I still want to grow more that is why am here to apply for another loan hoping for my lenders to support me. The current demand is for cerials in my area and i want to take up the challenge by purchasing some for my clients who have really supported me. Given a chance i will use the entire loan to purchase 50 kgs of beans, 40 kgs of green gram and 90 kgs of dry maize. This will cost me a total of $200. I will be able to make a profit of about 20 kenya shillings per kilogram and thus i will be able to get good returns hence repaying my loan with much ease. I humbly ask my precious lenders to make it happen since they did it once. Thank you in a advance.
