My names are Anthony njoroge kinyua, born and grew in Nakuru town.I am 43 years of age.i attended Menengai Primary and High School.I joined JKUAT for Diploma in IT and later on i furthered to Barchelor of Science in the same institution.
Through much support from my mother who is a single parent i have been able to complete studies and acquire much enterpreneurship skills. The already running business was passed to us,me and my mother by my late dad in 1995.Where i live, there is a relative high demand for middle class housng in our town. Thus, i have engaged myself in acquiring leased residential houses for middle class society. My unique hobby is housing and farming.
After entering into a 3 year lease agreement with my siblings on houses they acquired through inheritance, I was able to start renovations on these two houses turning them from poorly finished houses to a targeted well furnished apartments.
This will give them a raised value and worth to enable high return for money invested. The Houses are located in a middle class sub- urban area of Nakuru town, close to the A104 and with all amenities i.e. Water , Security, Private and Public Schools,Hospital and Electricity. These assures a great demand in the housing market.
An estimated budget will cost me a total of Kenyan Shillings 200,000 to renovate the houses both interior and exterior. This involves cement work, wood finishing, paint and electrical installations. This will generally involve repairs, modifications and upgrade to reflect a modern finishing.Currently I have spent 75% of the total cost where a few items remain. As I continue to finalize targeting end of this month,I will be able to source funds, by other means to attain the 25% balance and complete the project by close of the month for occupation.
I have been implementing my project and is almost at final stage.I have relocated the house, from a poor state, old and worn out to a modern finished house.
The remaining part, paint work and electrical repairs requires some money. The funding will assist to meet this cost.
