I grew up as a pastoralist boy but developed a strong passion towards farming in which at the age of 13 years I bought a billy goat out of exchange with 3 bags of maize I harvested from my small Shamba.

I endeavoured to see myself through high school and college courtesy of farming following the demise of father shortly before I joined high school. I proceeded to college where I studied a certificate in pharmaceutical technology.

Through farming, I was able to get money to pay my school fees both for high school and college. The second term for Form 2 was worst where I completed dropped out of school and resorted to farming to get school fees. A good Samaritan found me doubling up as a farmer and a butcher and upon learning of my fees challenge he took me back to school and paid my entire high school fees. Upon completion of high school, I did farming for 2 years where I got sufficiently money that supported my college fees and upkeep.

I started my business through farming proceeds which I still do up to date.

Maasai land is unique on its own ways as land is rich for farming activities and businesses ranging from shops, hotels to tourism is always booming and flourishing. The Maasai culture itself has stood the test of time and withstand western erosions and upto date thriving in a blended modernized form. My children want to be Doctors and Engineers. My greatest hobby is tree planting, where I have planted more than 10,000 tree seedlings in my local community.

Farm agricultural products i.e cabbages, potatoes, wheat, maize, rams fattening rearing business, dairy and chicken keeping are among the diverse business I am doing and intending to expand. Proceeds are used to purchase land and soon build rental houses

Purchase farm inputs fertilizers and chemicals to boost my ongoing farming activities. This will help me in expanding my farming activities that I may be able to support my projects and family in education and other!
