My name is Esther Chepkorir Towet,the first born in the family of six siblings.I was brought up in the in the humble background family where my parents had no job and they were not able raise and feed all of us.
I am from Kimumu in Eldoret city.I am hardworking and people oriented entrepreneur.My business is located in Kimumu town.
The very hardship I came through is that my parents were drunkard and they were not able to feed and pay school fees for us, despite the support of my community I managed until I completed Secondary school and from there I didn't further my education because of lack of fees.Another challenge is that after I completed Secondary School I had to move around my neighbourhood wash clothes and digging lands in order to raise school fees for my other siblings.
Despite the hardship and Challenges I came through,I struggled hard to achieve.While I was hustling to get fees for my other siblings, after job I was going to my friend who was a tailor to teach how to sew clothes.I did it for the short time gain skills and experience and I used the skills to start my business. I did my hustling and saved 10000kes which I used them to buy sewing machine.
Since I didn't further my education I got married at an early age.Currently I have four children.My firstborn has completed her bachelor's degree from school of medicine, second born is pursuing his course from Kenya Medical Training College at Nairobi, third born and lastborn are in are in different Secondary schools.Both third and last born want to be doctors also.I am struggling hard to make sure that my children achieve and be the great people in future.
The climate of our land is cool and wet,it favourable for tea growers,crops and vegetables plantation.
I like volunteering participating in community, helping vulnerable families, playing keyboard during church service and visiting the sick.
The name of my business is ESSER FASHION AND DESIGN.
Service I offered is that I sew different types of clothes.I also do sells ready made clothes and materials.
This is my favourite business because it has earns me alot of profits which I have used them to pay school fees for my siblings, my children and assist vulnerable families.
Since I want to expand my business I still need some capital to buy more school materials for school uniforms and clothes for this festive seasons.
The cost for buying clothes and materials ranges between 100000kes and 200000kes which can earns me monthly income of 15000kes whereby I will earn alot of profits and grow my business.
I will use my earnings to support the needy children because God has blessed me to pay school fees for my children, assist vulnerable families, build good houses for my children and improves my daily living standards.
I will use the funds to buy more different materials for for clothes different types of materials for school uniforms.I will earn more profits during this season because many people buy clothes for Christmas and school opening is near hence parents buy school uniforms for their children.Thank you.
