My name is Daniel Mulonda am married to Becky Musonda Mulonda and we have 2 children. We both completed school my wife and I. During my school days am one person who worked hard believing the education is the key to success. I really worked hard putting much effort and commitment that when I complete or graduate with a University degree I would get a better and a higher paying job for that matter. But that did out as I was dreaming. I began to face a lot of financial challenges in my life and putting food on the table was very difficulty for me. My wife also had a small job and it was not well paying. Sitting down and scratching my head all the time did not pay anything.

Until one day, I met a friend of mine who helped me to get connected to the youth empowerment fund to the government, I was told to draft a business proposal which I wrote on merit and I was awarded and listed to get a loan to start up a business in poultry raising. After, I successfully made great achievements in the business and started making good money, I also ventured into farming and also the raring livestock. I'm an entrepreneur in Livestock, poultry raising, farming of different of agriculture crops for sale due to hard working and sound results in business.

My great vision for my children when they grow up in life is to teach them how to ran the businesses by impacting them with enough skills to ran the business. I addition to that I also wish them to have the best education by taking them into the Universities. However, in my leisure time, I like jogging and keeping fit going to the gym and teaching my children on their school work and taking them for boat cruising.

I'm involved into poultry raising, farming of crops, butchery and dairy processing of fresh milk and sour milk.

For this loan am applying for am looking at buying equipment for the butchery and dairy processing at the moment. For butchery I don't have the following equipment's;

1. meat mincer/glinder

2. meat slicer

3.meat saw

4.mear mixer

5. sausage filler

6. Knives

7 . cutting boards, scales, cutting gloves

As for the dairy equipment processing, I need the following ;

1. Parlor equipment pasteurizers,

2. Automatic milking machine, milk containers, and the buckets are just some of the equipment that I need at the dairy section at the farm.

The total budget for these equipment, I need at least K 175,000.00 to procure the equipment's for me to start processing the milk and sour for the people of the community which they have not had for years now. I want to take this opportunity as the first person in our village in Namwala to produce good milk and sour products at the farm. I addition to this development at the farm, it will also create job opportunities for the people at the farm to work at the milk plant and boast the economy in Namwala town of Southern Province.

However, most of the profits made will be for the development and expansion of these two projects at the farms in the production of milk, beef and chicken products and empower the community with jobs.

Looking at the growing demand for butchery and dairy good in our village where the farm is located. There is need for me to buy the equipment for helping me im processing dairy and the beef products which the community consume on a daily basis. Following the growing demand that the people of the community need especially fresh milk, sour and the beef

products. The funds will be used to buy the equipment and bring change to people of our community to access beef products and fresh milk. This will bring us more profits as a family and develop the well being of the community and the family.
