My occupation is am a business lady involved mainly in businesses. I ran small businesses in the city of Kitwe by Chisokeni Market. Business is my main source of income. I have great passion for business and I wish my business to grow and expand.
Am involved mainly in Vegetable crop farming business and secondly I have a small restaurant shop where I also sale food staffs. Thirdly I sale Second hand clothing business is one of the common businesses here in Zambia but depending on your location of your market, the business is profitable and mainly I target the farmers. As for the restaurant business mainly the food staffs are targeted for the people around the market and during the lunch hour the business is on demand because people want to buy and eat. The restaurant business is 100
% profitable. Hence should I reinvest more in the business, I will expand the business and therefore improve the living standard home wise and manage school fees for the children.
However the Vegetable crop farming business is now the core business am focussing because it is one of the main source of food security at the moment here in Zambia for home consumption and and for sale both local.and the international market. My ultimate goal is to develop in this sector of crop vegetable business by acquiring support from the international community through Zidisha crowdi funding loans.
When I receive the funds, am looking at buying the drip pipes and the watering canes for watering the crops in the vegetable gardens. For a long time now I have lacking these tools to help me in watering the crops in my garden, hence once I buy them it will help me to water the crop very allow the crop absorb much water and grow health. In addition to that I will produce a good production for sale and earn good turnover. Therefore, I will also help my family and children have a better life and reinvest more in the business for expansion.
