My name is Loveness Hanamaila the first female child from the family 5 children. Being 1 girl and 4 boys.
I completed my high school senior secondary and obtained division one school certificate which led me to be selected to study at the university of Zambia in the school of Agriculture and Animal Science.
I graduated successfully, I hold a bachelors degree and am working with the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock as Agriculture manager.
I come from the family of hard working parents who inspired me a lot since I was a girl child and my parents would to tell me hard working would lead you to success in future. My parents were successful commercial farmers and taught me to take up Agriculture seriously because , it is a source of income and food security in the family and the nation. With this rich background, I took farming business seriously and today am an entrepreneur farmer rich in growing vegetables and maize farming. Hence that is how I over came the hardship of income and poverty in my family .
Our land is unique because the land is good and fertile and most youths are very much involved in farming of different types of crops where is a major source of income.
In future, once I get married, I plan to have two children and I wish them to be graduates like me and achieve more than I have done so far.
Hobbies, I love adventure, swimming and reading books.
Iam mainly involved in the farming business, I grow vegetables and maize crop which is the main cash crop at the farm. Backers my main concern as to why I need your support in this project of mine at the farm project, I need to buy the Combine Harvester Machine and the Maize Sheller to help me to harvest the maize for 2024 to 2025, I have a huge maize harvest that need the support of the maize combine harvester and the maize sheller.
The Maize sheller will cost me K 25,000.00
The maize combine harvester will cost me K 65,000.00, which will give me a total of K 80,000.00.
However, this will enhance quick packaging of maize in 90kg bags and in readiness for sale to the government -food reserve agency at a good profit. The profit realized will be used for the growth of the farming business, support the vulnerable children in our community as well as the aged parents who cannot do anything and improve the living stand of the family and afford good schools for my children.
I need to purchase the combine harvester and the sheller machine at the farm to be helping me in threshing and shelling the maize during harvesting time. I have a huge harvest this year due to a bumper harvest of maize which resulted in good rainfall pattern. The machine will help me to thresh and shell the maize to enable safe packaging of maize in the 90 kg bags in readiness for sale at the food reserve agency at a profit. The funds earned will be used to buy farming inputs, help the vulnerable in our community and improve the living standard of the farming and expand the farming business more income.
