My name is Patricia Nanyangwe, a Zambian born and bred in the central province.
I did my primary and secondary school in Kabwe though could not complete my secondary education due to financial constraints.
However I have remained focused in my business endeavors to sustain myself and I through the same I wish to still continue with my education so that I can become what I have always dreamed of becoming!
My business is clothing.
I buy second hand clothes and shoes and resale to my clientele who are mostly transiting through my town.
My area of trading is located at what I would call a landing spot for farmers from different farming blocks.
When these people come to deliver their farm produce they rarely have time to go into town to shop for clothes so I saw this as an opportunity to bring clothing near to them.
So far the business is okay as it is able to sustain my living and that of my 3 kids but I really desire to grow so much that I can stock even bags and other fabric products.
That's why when I learned of ZIDISHA I believed this platform could help realize my dream
I will use these funds to buy some second hand clothes for resale.
From the profits, this will help me meet some basic needs for my family.
The community will also benefit in that I will be bringing these items close to them and as I meet my basic needs I will be someone's client hence contributing to the community GDP
