Hello members, My name is Joan Kandagor, a native of bomet town. I was born and raised in a small village in bomet town. My childhood life was good untill I lost my parents in a terrible road accident. I was only in class 4 when my parents passed on then i went to live with my grandmother. Life was hard but i struggled till i completed my highschool education. my grandmother really supported me through her tea plantation revenue. I started doing house chores for people to earn a living in order to cater for my needs since i could not depend on my grandmother forever. I managed to make some savings and that is how i managed to open my groceries kiosk.

I have been running the grocery kiosk for three years now and my livelihood has really improved. I am able to pay my bills and rent by myself since the business is in eldoret town and i live in Eldoret currently. Being the only groceries person in the area, I have been able to make good money daily through hardwork and prayers.

My goal is to increase stock of groceries in my shop. I intend to restock apples and mangoes since their demand has risen. With increase in sales, i will be able to make more money to be able to settle my bills comfortably.
