My name is Kings Sichone a Zambian national with a green registration card. I come from Southern Province, where I was born. I live in Highridge compound township in the tourist capital of Livingstone.
I went to David Kaunda Technical School, where I completed my form 5. Due to lack of jobs, I started running my own business and today am an entrepreneur. Am involved is fish farming business which is the main occupation and the source of income.
I started the fish farming business because of my grandfather who greatly taught me the skills of how to go about the business and today am a successful in fish farming. I just need more support to ensure that I have the right tools and the right refrigeration and cold-room for storage of fish.
I wish my children when they grow up good education for them to get better jobs and become important people in our Zambian society today.
During my pastime I love watching local football and English Premier League.
Fish farming business is the main source of income. I travel to the lake Kariba weekly, where I catch fish with my helpers and buy fish for sale in my fish center shop. Fishing business is a great source of income because it is always in demand due to high consumption. I supply fish on a daily basis to customers who press daily orders. Due to high demand from the customers, I need more fishing tools, refrigeration or the cold room for good storage and meet the demand to satisfy the customers and generate more money.
Once I secure the storage system in my fish center, I will need also to employee more staff to be helping me out to serve the customers because customers come in large numbers to buy. I only request for your support to realize the great dream I have in fish farming, so that I help my family members who are vulnerable pay school fees and improve the living standard as aim the bread winner for the family at the moment.
Am planning to buy the new fishing nets for fishing with my two helpers. I have had old ones which are not useful and hence I need to replace them with the new ones for me to start working properly at the Lake Kariba in Siavonga. I also need to buy the refrigeration for storage of fish at my fish center and make more income for the business to support my children and my siblings by paying them school fees. In addition to that improve the standard living standard of the family. Fishing is my core business which I started 4 years ago and is the main source of income.
