Dear members,my name is Janet Rotich from Bomet Kenya.I was born in the year 1990 in the village called Sotit.I am single mother of three children two girls and a boy,namely Peris,Sharon and Tom. Two are secondary schools and one is in primary school.I am not married. I am a breadwinner at home because my father is deceased and i am the first and my mother is at old age.My mother relies on me to do side hustles to get food and to pay fees for my younger siblings and my children.
I am a business woman where I have been doing agriculture farming and poultry keeping.I keep chickens and broilers for selling meat .In agriculture I mostly plants vegetables since they have high markets, also usable at home and hotels.My business of agriculture farming was doing well before my father died in 2020.During this time of morning my business was crippled to a point of reducing down.This is due to my father was assisting me alot in farming because we depends that much for school fees and food.Also I used so many money for hospital fees.
In 2023 I myself decided to wake up and started from a scratch because I am dependant by mother, siblings and my children.Because My business had gone down i had search for loan providers to get some capital to uplift my business,so I was able to borrow from momentum loans.I borrowed from the company for three months and quit because they had high interest rates on which it was of no helpful for my business especially for my small business. For now I can say my business is picking up.
Having achieved some distance of benefits and risks as a farmer growth. I am looking forward to expanding my venture to accommodate both retail and wholesale customers.This business appeal to me because I have a dream of being a big business woman though I have abit difficult due to limited capital I have in my growing of business.
Because I have many friends we share alots about business,one day as we were discussing, I raised a question that I am looking for a source of capital to grow my business, my friend introduced me about ZIDISHA. He told me that it is the best organisation among all others organisation. He told me that i can confirm by reading terms and conditions and found that zidisha has no interest fee and so that many many members have benefited from you and thus made me join zidisha.Once again,I hearly submit my request to you members to support me to boost my project.

I am a business woman dealing with farming. I do agriculture and poultry keeping. I do this business because there is a shamba home and it wasn't need huge capital.Also farming have high profits if well managed.Mostly vegetables have high market and demands.I do poultry keeping because it goes with vegetables since I will get customers from home,restaurants and hotels.There is high demands for vegetables, eggs,meets and chicks.
Currently I have 2 acres of land on which i have different plantation. I have planted 0.3 acres of cabbagges,0.2 acres of sukuma wiki,0.2 acres of kales,0.3 acres of tomatoes and 0.3 acres of potatoes.At the moment, in my poultry keeping i have 100 layers for eggs,Each day I collect an average of atleast 70eggs which I sell at Ksh 11kes each,I have 89 broilers for meet for which sells an average of 50 monthly at a rate of 400kes each. I have chickens for producing young ones. These chickens may take long to produce their young ones they have more profits too because as am waiting to reproduce, I still sells their eggs, and also their eggs are expensive, I sells one egg at 15kes.
The only problem I am encountering in this business involves deceases, egg damage and price.
At the moment, I still need more capital to grow my business to which I am looking forward to you to give me the loan to expand my business. Thanks.
I will use the funds to purchase feeds for my chickens and farm inputs.I will buy chick mash,maize corn,fertilisers,top dressing, tomatoes seeds,potatoes seeds, kales seeds, spinach seeds and carrots seeds.Thank you so much for giving me support. Regards
