Farming is important since I was a young girl , my grandmother taught me to take farming serious apart from academic school work because is a source of food security for nation and households. Farming is a great source of income. I grow maize for the production of mealie meal which is our staple food in our community. Currently I need to fix my canter truck which needs new tyres. 1 tyres is costing me K 2,500.00 and I need 4 tyres at the moment which will cost me K 10,000.00 to buy 4 tyres to make my canter truck move and help me to go the market to sell the maize crop for the production of mealie meal.
The profits made, I will buy the farming inputs mostly to support me once again in my next farming season and some profits I need to support my children by paying them with school fees and improve the standard of loving of the family.
Following the break down of transport at the farm, I need to repair the canter truck by buying for 4 tyres which are needed for the farm canter truck to transport maize to the market for the production or for processing mealie meal at the hammer for sell. The vehicle cannot move, it needs new tyres for it to move to the market without challenges.
