My name name is kiprotich lelei. I am a teacher by profession, I was born and raised in kericho county shalom constituency where I grew up from childhood till I completed university.

Being a first born I had to move to town in search of greener pastures, Working as a teacher for two years was good but the salary was small so I had to do side hustle to make ends meet and cater for family upkeep.

I started a small bakery where I produced mandazi, donuts and cakes, I had previously learned baking were I used to work before I secured a job.

The business picked well and during the covid 19 pandemic I was fulltime free and attended to the business. I ended up losing my teacher job and focused on the business.

I make cakes, doughnuts and mandazi which I supply to shops within and outside town.

I have registered my business as a small enterprise and if I get enough funds I will use it to do branding where by I will print packaging bags with the name of the company so to market and create awarenesses.

I will also employ two more to make work easier and to supply outside town.

With this loan I will buy bakery eguipments, plates and food stuffs, I will buy flour, rice and cooking fat. This will help improve my business and also to earn more income and gain more customers.
