Am Cynthia Ambenge, 36 years of age, a university graduate currently pursuing my MBA specialising in Project management at Kenyatta University. Am a teacher of Business studies and this has laid a big foundation for me in business, I have tried so many businesses before finally settling as an environmental conservationist. I work in a part of Kiambu county called Lari where a lot of agricultural activities take place and also a lot of forests surround us, this pushed me to help the local community in environmental conservation measures. During my free time I like mentoring young people.
Am an environmental conservationist helping people in the area where I work to learn and know the importance of conserving the environment so as to get maximum benefits from it. With these sometimes am in need of farm inputs and trees to plant to help in these measures.As a history teacher I have been motivated by Wangari maathai to preserve the environment, with funding I get used it to sustain my household and most of it I give back to the community.
Am grateful for the zidisha community, with allocated funds, I will buy tanks (small) to conserve rainy water now to be used when there won’t be rains.payment for labor for land preparation in order to start seedling bedding.
