I am Kutung Victoria born on 22nd August, 1991 at Kabrekura in Volta Region. My father married many wives in fulfillment of their tradition when things where good for him. Unfortunately things my father became bankrupt and left we the children to our fate. Unfortunately my mother gave birth to only girls which compounded our situation. This is because boys are respected and easily get support even from parents around where I live because they perceive that girls/women are “house wives or for kitchen” and therefore supporting them does not worth anything. I and my sister suffered a whole lot of things and that put me into hairdressing which I did couple with schooling.
In order for my children not to suffer the same I am working hard to get money to continue my schooling. After Senior High School for lack of funds I am still at home. For this reason I started doing business and wish to even open Hairdressing shop when I get money.
I am selling sachet water and other petty things. At this time sales of sachet water, stationery and other petty things. Sale of sachet water is good now since the weather is warm in the North and it has not yet rain. In fact, people buy the water other things from me and impact is always felt whenever I am not able to come out.
With the loan I wish to buy pens, pencils, note books, exercise books, permanent and white board markers and others to enable people around me especially pupils and students to get these goods to buy to enhance their education and expectant profit of 55% for me.
