About Me

Am a a lady who went to school in central kenya from primary school to secondary school . in one year I stayed at home since my parents could not cater for the college fees and worked in farming for cash crops and cultivation . During my stay home i had my own chickens which i used to sell eggs to support my provison items. My father and Mother have given me enough guidance and supportive ideas before , Then i enrolled in college for fire safety and security G4S Kenya . I enrolled with county government for attachment to learn more about fire and after my duration of my time of 6 months was over . I enrolled with individual companies dealing with oxygen and powder refilling of fire extinguishers in schools and institutions. I happened to learn about the refills and putting the expiry date tags on fire extinguishers. After an year with that experience i enrolled to set up a Family and i settled with a husband caring for three children still engaging in fire fighting equipment's tendering in schools ,institution like hospitals and private homes. I came to start tendering for such items after the government goal is to support the youth . " year 2016" Youth Empowerment initiative projects" I happened to write a proposal which supports me up to the Moment.

My First born have joined Secondary school and other two siblings are schooling at Primary level and we sustain them with tenders and husband support .

My Business

Currently I tender for the Fire extinguishers and oxygen and gas powder refills in schools and i also sell beverages in small sachets . When am not engaged with the fire fighting equipments i major with packaging Tea leaves in small sachets where i buy in bags in Factory Price and do packaging for distribution to retailers in Shops and Hotels . The business have been good to me since i have always been able to put food on the Table for my Family. During repackaging I always get a profit of 30% from the sale of each packet. I have also learnt that hotels do use tea leaves mostly to make tea and if i engage in this business supply i will catch up with the market. Our culture also do like Tea other unlike other beverages so it is consumption of daily use in each and every house hold. before i enrolled in this business i used to be in a restaurant for 6 months and got a nitch in this business enterprises.

The profits i get i use to feed my family, support church welfare, cloth and have a weekly saving targets for future endeavors.
