I am Victor Kipkurui aged 27. I am married and a father of one child. I have a diploma in Banking and Finance from Rift Valley Institute of Science and Technology. I live in Kabachia Estate Nakuru Town, Nakuru County opposite ebony wooden gate plot number 146.
I started my business of selling electrical appliances in 2011, just after completing college. I started it because I saw growth in demand for electrical appliances in my town.
I will use the earnings from my business for expansion, payment of my bills and looking after the welfare of my young family.
I sell electrical appliances in Nakuru Town, Nakuru county behind Rift Ralley Sports Club next to Gilanis supermarket. Nakuru is a fast growing town, that has created a high demand for electrical appliances because of the new residential housing developments. There is also a great need for their repair, replacements. My electrical shop thrives because I provide quality appliances coupled with good customer service that I have developed over the three years in business. I generate between USD 190 and USD 280 profit per month which l use to add stock to the business and support my family. So a Zidisha loan will help me increase stock and also open other outlets, providing employment to others and helping me run and grow the business.
Thank you Zidisha team and lenders for the chance of receiving loans. When l get the funds, l will use 100 dollars to purchase electrical switches. l will also purchase the energy savers bulbs that are in high demand at a cost of 200 dollars, l will also purchase electrical cables that are fast moving at a cost of 150 dollars. The money that l earn from selling these components will be used to expand my business, pay for my children school fees and improve my living standard in Nakuru.
