About Me
My name is Janet Lupiya a Zambia citizen by nationality. I was born in Lusaka the capital city if Zambia. I come from the family of 5, being 3 girls and 2 boys. I started my primary school at Emma dale primary school, where I did my primary course for years before qualifying into secondary school. Therefore, I completed my education at Matero Girls Secondary School. I hold a Diploma in pharmacy which I studied from the University of Zambia. Am now currently pursuing my bachelor's degree in same course. Am also a business lady and it is my business that is even paying for school bill. I started my business actually when I while at school and I did continue even after completion.
My Business
I have a salon shop where I provide different types of ladies hair style and make ups. These services have increased in demand because most people especially the ladies folk at the moment, I want to look nice and beautiful. As a result of the growing demand in the services I provide. Am lacking good salon tool and comfortable chairs to make my customers sit and wait to be attended to. The business is very profitable and that is the main reason I choose it.
Going forward I want to grow and expand the business. The profits made is for improvement of the well being of the business and the family.
Project Proposal
With the funds raised in this project of mine, am looking at buying , salon chairs and some salon equipment's which am lacking at the moment. I need to buy the salon 5 salon chairs, dryer units, hair curlers and tower, mirrors, hair clippers , hair styling station and shampoo bowls. These items in my salon will help me by attracting many customers and provide quality services for them and generate good income for the business.
