I am called Adu Gertrude Nyarko. I am twenty three years and a student. I'm a native of Berekum and live in Nyamebekyere A to be precise. I live alone in my own apartment though its a rented one. I am in a relationship but not yet married. I am very active when it comes to work. I wish to grow and become a great entrepreneur a day to come. I had some of my education in Berekum and and also in relevant towns across the country Ghana. My primary education was received in Berekum at Christ The King Academy and j.h.s as well. Also I obtained my secondary school certificate from Yaa Asantewaa Girls Senior High School located in Tanoso, Ashanti region. I use my leisure time in listening attending entrepreneurial seminars and listening to multinational speakers.
I work in my own boutique where I sell a lot of clothes. I sell variety of clothing which includes shirts, suit, trousers and many other stuffs. My weekly income is GHS180. My profit is GHS30. I love selling and I have lived the most enjoyable part of my life in doing so. That was why in the first place I opted for this kind of work. I also chose this business because of the financial gains attached to it. I have done this business for approximately four years. I started with my own savings and later on collected a loan from a local bank to support it. I also want to add the local fashion, that is blending the African prints as they call it with that of the Westerners. This is because the demand of such clothes on the market is touching the sky. It therefore comes with a lot of revenue because there is no import duty on it.
Thank you my lenders. I decided to use my previous loan to buy more African prints. It has been a wonderful experience nurturing that ideas. I have received several orders from a large number of my customers. Many of these orders were placed today. It has put a little pressure on me on how to meet the demands of all my customers in time. This pushed me to use all of my previous loan in supporting a Taylor to sow these prints for me. I envisage this idea of entering into the sales of African Prints is very good should things go as envisaged. I therefore intend to use all(100%) in buying the African print from the Taylor on wholesale price. I will then meet the demands of my customers. It will then increase my revenue and also create income for my taylor.
