About Me

My name is Caleb Calvin Akwetey-Addo, I am 28years old and a graduate from Ho Technical university with accounting background. I was born in koforidua the capital city of Eastern Region in Ghana. I had my basic education in Odumase Krobo a town in Eastern Region. After my tertiary education I worked with several companies in education, hospitality, and a paint company. I have about 6years working experience. My passion for entrepreneurship and also my salaries not being enough to take care of my family made me to resign and start my own paint business. I have been doing this for almost a year now, and I am really enjoying it.

My Business

My business distribute paint to real estates, construction companies, painters, and individuals and companies who want to paint their buildings or offices. Many companies prefer my Paint because is silicone modified acrylic paint which makes it easy to clean when it's dirty. I have one employee and we are currently making about $2,000 monthly on the average with $200 profit. The monthly expenses include salaries($200), transport($70), telephone($10), and the rest go to inventory($1,520). I use some of the profit to take care of my family and invest the rest back in the business.

Loan Proposal

I will use the loan to add to my money to buy inventory to meet a customer's order. I always request for loan when I get an order from a customer. And I will pay the loan when I supply the goods to the customer. I always pay the loan when I deliver the goods to the customer and they pay me. That's why I always pay my loan on time.

I received GHS69 after deductions. I used the loan to add to my money to buy 2 buckets of paint to meet an order from a customer. The customer paid half of the money, so I also paid half of my loan. The customer will be paying the rest in the course of the week, then I will also pay the rest of my loan. Thank you very much for supporting my business. I really appreciate.
