About Me

Jacob Owusu is what they call me. I got it from my grandfather, so I was told by my parents. I am a young man of of twenty twenty one years old. I am not married. I live with my parents in my father's own house. I am from a family of eight. My parents and my five other siblings of which one was adopted by my mother. I share room with my adopted brother and its always exciting to be with him. I am a senior high school graduate and currently into sewing business. I learned this trade for two years as an apprentice under Mr Sampson. I know a lot I need my own shop. I have plans of continuing my education but it is not a priority at the moment. My topmost need on my list now is getting into a business that pays because I cannot always depend on dad and mum. I prefer a cut as a pet to any other.

My Business

As already mentioned in my story I am into clothing business and my aspect is just sewing. I chose this business because it comes with reasonable profit and also I just enjoy making my own clothes. I always want to make clothes that can be tagged to me. Thus I always try to create new designs and people buy into the idea of creating something of our own which we call the African print. It making way into the African market and even outside the continent. I have been in business not for long but only a year and few months, approximately a year and seven months. I am trying make little savings which aided me in putting up a metallic container inside which my work is done. I make close to 120 ghs a week and after deducting my expenses for the I am able to make 60 ghs as profit. I now want to increase my revenue so I need some money to add to my capita.

Loan Proposal

Thank you for your assistance. After this loan is approved and funded I am going to use it to buy a brand new sewing machine. I have been a seamstress for reasonable years. I have been using an old fashioned sewing machine for all my glorious jobs. Its been in use since the inception of my business. At first I had wanted to get rid of it because of the faults it started to develop. But I took it to repairs. But now its no more function and thus has been delaying my works and degrading the quality and beauty of my work. I believe now is the time to find myself a new and more sophisticated sewing machine. This will help me improve on the quality of the services I render and also meet the demands of people in time. Though this loan is not enough but I will help raise enough loan till I reach my target. Thank you very much.
