I am 25 years old and come from a family of three - one sister and one brother where I am the first born. My parents are small scale farmers from Eastern region of Kenya. I relocated to Mombasa three years ago in search of greener pastures. I am hard working and honest and this qualities have brought me to where I am today from a very humble beginnings.
I did my secondary school education and later did an ICT course in computer maintenance and networking at the Technical University of Mombasa. After failing to secure employment after college, I decided to start a business where I sell mobile phones and related accessories.
My business deals with sales of mobile phones and accessories such as headphones, phone chargers and batteries. These items are in high demand due to digital explosion that the region is undergoing currently.
This has seen my business grow from strength to strength and I make a profit of about $300 per month. In spite of the relative success my business has made over time, I feel a little credit would increase the growth pace. With a loan of $150 I will be able to stock more accessories for my phone shop and I am sure I will make a good profit out of the increased sales.
As I mentioned earlier, I deal with sale of mobile phones and accessories. My immediate goal is to increase my stock which will also increase my sales. I intend to use $100 to buy a few low end mobile phones and the balance to buy phone accessories like batteries, chargers, earphones etc.
My sales are adequate to repay this loan as stated above.
Thank you.
