Hi. My name is John.I live in Kenya in a town called Nakuru, situated in the Rift Valley. Im a hardworking, honest, dilligent and humble guy with a religious background since my early childhood. I studied all through my formative years in Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya.Attending St. Nicholas primary school and Upper Hill secondary.
I reside in nakuru, which is a growing town located in the rift valley and with alot of potential for doing business and investing. Im a businessman who sells electricity tokens and also provide computer services like printing, photocopying, typesetting, scanning and burning data discs.
I started this business after identifying the need and demand, for computer services and the prepaid electricity tokens in my neighborhood. Especially since the prepaid electricty meters were introduced quite recently.
I'm applying for a zidisha loan so that i can pump more capital/float into the token business as it has proven to have a higher demand than i'd anticipated. This business has the potential of growing very fast and at the same time serve the community; coz of the convenience of having elec. tokens at the neighborhood. The elec. token busines is also a 'green business', since there is no paper involved in the transactions thus minimizing environmental degradation, no matter how small. In advance, THANK YOU.
The loan that i receive will go towards increasing the float on the prepaid electricity vending and also to do some much needed branding at the shop. This branding will be in the form of painting and printing out fliers to hand to prospective and existing clients. I visualize the business having a bigger reach and visibility to all who would want to access computer services or buy the electricity tokens. I believe that 'a visual business is a succesfull business'.
