About Me

Am a 41-year-old Kenyan citizen, I Project Manager in an NGO. I have a diploma in ICT, A diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation, and a degree in Education (Computer and Mathematics) I have a regular income and thus can be able to repay the loan from my salary as well as from my small business that I expect will expand very soon. I live in Nakuru, in an estate called Naka Off Nakuru-Nairobi. Highway.
I have a small business which entails typing, printing, laminating and photocopying. I intend to use the money from Zidisha for expanding my small business. I need a powerful colour printer that will eventually help in improving the services that i offer. From the loan that I will get from Zidisha, I will add just a small amount of money and thus will be in a position of getting the Printer that I need. Thank you.

My Business

My business Nikko Computer Services brings in approximately 120,000 Kshs a month I have employed one person who I pay 10,000 a months, business rent is 8,000, and electricity bill is around 1000 a month. I spend 4000 for refilling my printers toner and 7,000 on stationary I don’t incur maintainace cost because I maintain my own machines. Nikko Computer Services give me a profit of 50,000-65,000 shillings in a month.
I intend to expand my business because of my raising number of customers right now I manage to market Nikko computer services to my fellow collage mates hence increase sales because of this I will need to buy a new printer that is faster in speed and also can produce quality work. I also need a colour printer and a better computer. I intended also to employee additional workforce to ensure that all the work that is available in done very fast and accurate so as to retain my customers. Nikko computer service beats its competition by being very reliable and producing quality work we also open very early in the day at 7.00 am and close late this is to enable our customers to served before they can go to college or work and can pick their job after working hours.

Loan Proposal

Thank you for giving me this opportunity. I will use the loan as additional capital I will add some of my savings to it and buy a new laminating machine because the one that I currently have is very slow and unreliable. With the new Laminating machine I know I will make a lot of profit because I will start laminating all the documents that will be brought to my business with no fear of paper-jam in the process damaging the customers document which most of the time are very important hence the need to laminate them.
