The first born in a family of two girls. Raised by a single mum who passed on later and left us in the care of my grandparents. Pursued a bachelor's of law degree from Kenyatta University and currently at The Kenya School of Law for the law diploma.
Having to depend on my aging grandparents has not been smooth, and therefore there have been obstacles, leading me to need some source of income to cater for myself as well as my little sister, who is also pursuing her undergraduate course and has a family of two children. This is what led me to having a small investment of my own, despite the difficulties in raising capital. Having been born in a culture where people love doing investment led me into growing into this business venture, despite pursuing another career not business-related.
I love reading business journals and particularly the business daily to get to learn about business and various investments I can venture in. Capital has been the main hindrance in all this and look forward to a more successful partnership with your team as we work together. I have no family as of yet, as I am in the business of creating a good foundation for them so that once they are here, they will not struggle as I did.
I run a general merchant shop with foodstuff, drinks, shoes and utensils. These goods are important, as most of them are basics that locals cannot live without, and therefore they have a ready market. I chose this line of business as I thought the same was a ready market for the goods I chose to sell, and therefore the goods are fast moving. I only incur costs in having to buy the goods from the wholesalers, but this is not always the case, as some wholesalers bring the goods to the shop, provided you have placed your order and have ready capital to purchase the goods.
The little profit I make from the shop business is my source of revenue. I also have to pay rent for my shop. I use the profits to reinvest in growing the business, and the same will be used to repay the loan advanced to me by yourselves. I look forward to working with your team, and I hope the same will make me be in a position to expand my business further, as I have an idea of offering mobile money services to my clients for convenience and other agent services offered by various banks in Kenya.
I look forward to your kind consideration.
I will buy a bag of sugar weighing fifty kilograms for the shop (which goes for four thousand shillings) and two bales of maize flour (which goes for twelve hundred each) and the rest I will purchase a bale of wheat flour. I expect that these products will generate income amounting to at least five hundred shillings.
The firstborn in a family of two girls.Raised by a single mum who passed on later and left in the care of my grandparents.Pursued a bachelor of laws degree from Kenyatta University and currently practising as an advocate of the High court of Kenya.Besides that i still run a business where i once in a while manage though i have employed someone to operate it as i pursue my career. My sister is also under employment elsewhere as a hotelier and her children are also schooling though for now in light of the prevailing novel covid-19 pandemic she is not working and i have been forced to step into the shoes of settling both her rent and food as she is a single mother.Having been born in a culture where people are in business and having the little experience as of today,i am able to manage it and will continue learning.I love reading business journals and particularly the business daily to get to learn about business and various investment i can venture in.Capital has been the main hindrance in all this and look forward to a more successful partnership with your team as we work together.i am now blessed with one child now two years old and my aim is to give her a better life than i probably had.I now have a great passion with travelling so that i may learn what happens elsewhere and particularly in the business field as i intend and am passionate about being a great business lady as well as a career woman.I am certain that i will inspire young people when i succeed in business and i may also provide them the necessary capital and/or lend them the capital as i have been assisted by your team.
