About Me

My name is Lydia Mwakwida, I am a business lady married with 3 children. I hail from coastal region of Kenya. I did both primary and secondary Education in Coast region. My father before his demise was a business man. He introduced me greatly to business as I was her favorite daughter. He had a registered business and a farm. In my teen years I would accompany him when he does direct sales hence my learning in interpersonal relationship with clients. I did my college training in Nairobi where I got married, me and my husband later agreed that as a couple we should not go for formal employment. That is about 14 years ago I have been in running our family business. My business started small with little support from members of family. The business has had its shares of trouble like wrong partnership, business doors closed because of rent problems but we thank God we have overcome all

My Business

I operate a cyber cafe as the main business, the activities include printing, browsing, Photocopying, scanning, Internet services. Others side activities are selling popcorn, selling exercise books. My typical costs are rental, my assistant wages and cost of buying stocks. The proceeds from the business I use in paying school fees, my rental house and supporting my extended family

Project Proposal

This funds i want to use for school fees for my son who is in form one in a national boarding school.
