About Me

My name is Esnart Chilambe a Tonga by tribe. I live in Lusaka and am located in Kabanana Township. Am the first born from the family of 3 children. I grew up with a single mother . I went to St. Francis Catholic Secondary School and completed my grade 12 and I did pass with flying colors. Due to hard work in my academic career, I have been successfully accepted to the Copper belt University of Zambia to study civil engineering.
However, I am an entrepreneur. I have a small business which I started after completion of secondary school and it through this business that am raising funds to be assisting me to pay some school fees and buy books. Am a visionary young lady and am looking forward to my studies and graduate with a bachelors degree in civil engineering and get a better job in the near future.

My Business

I have a small shop located at the main market in Kabanana where I am specialized in making wedding cakes, birthdays, decorations, cup cakes, scorns, meat pies, cream dugnads and the flitters. Through this goods I make, I earn some incomes of which I save some in my bank account and some funds I reinvest back in the business to allow the business to grow. The production of wedding cakes and other goods are very useful to the target market because of wedding functions taking place in weekends and the demand is very high. Meat pies, cup cakes and flitters are highly in demand in schools because the target market for these are school going children usually consume them daily while at school. The goods are highly profitable and I want the loan applying for to help me buy some ingredients which am lacking in my shop for the production of baking these wedding cakes, cup cakes and meat pies so that my customers can be happy. Therefore the main purpose of these business is to raise more funds for education investments at the University of Zambia, growing the business and improve the living standard at home.

Project Proposal

Am applying for this loan to pay for tuition school fees at University of Zambia. I need at least ZMW 50,000.00 to help me for tuition fees and accommodation at school. In addition to that I also want to reinvest in my baking business to be generating some money to continue running the business so that am being sustained in other school expenses. I will indeed appreciate your support as I really need to the education so much and improve my life for better. Thank you in anticipation.
