My name are Jackline Moraa. I am a permanent resident of Nakuru, Iam married and blessed with two children. I finished my o level in 2002. In the year 2004 i joined EPZ as a clerk. I worked there upto the year 2009 when we were retrenched by the management. I decided to venture into business of selling food stuffs and new and second hand clothes. Later as the business grew i stocked more food stuffs, rubber shoes and slippers. The earning that i get i plough it back to the business and the rest is used to support the daily expenses of a house hold
I am a shop keeper and I deal with food stuffs like bread, sugar maize flour, rice and others. The reason to why i decided to start this business was due to the lack of job and i so it was good for me to do something that which could help me get basics needs for my family. Another reason was people were buying food stuffs very far from home so i decided to bring the service near to them. The big challenge to my business is lack of enough funds to help me expand the business to the better ones.In future if get funds i will be able to expand my business from a shop to a whole sale not only one but more and more.I am proud of my business because its the only source of income to my family and every thing i have came from the business.
When I get the loan, am planning to expand my business further. Together with my savings i will acquire a refrigerator for preservation of perishable goods and drinks that i sell furthermore i will add stock and also adding floats to my Mpesa services.
Thanks Zidisha
