About Me

I am Dickson Adu Fosu from Ghana. From childhood I had in mind of been an entrepreneur. I see today as a dream come true as I am now the director of nice village roofing system. Due to my vision I started to do some part time business during my secondary school time.

This made me to raise funds to even pay my school fees. This made my parents to stop paying my fees right at the senior secondary
school level.

After university I decided to establish my own business and after two years of failure I am now one of the best roofing roofing company in my region.

My Business

I deal in roofing sheets. That is the long span, IBR, tiles etc. Before the roofing is done, the measurement of the entire roof is taken in meters. The rate per meter is charged then the client pays 80% then after the roofing the 20% is added.

I can make about 4,000 Ghana cedis as profit of which some part is ploughed back into the business.

The business is three years old but I have realised tremendous improvement.

Loan Proposal

The loan will be used to purchase nails which will help in the roofing. The nails will help me to roof my clients building at a profit.

Ghana is faced with changes in prices of goods and services so if I am able to stock a lot of materials which includes the nails I am able to do businesses with the nails at a higher profit.

    You need to Place create a support ticket using the help menu (www.zidisha.org/borrower/help) to get help from a staff member regarding your reason for not repaying your loan. This discussion board is not monitored by a staff member. Please get this sorted out so you can make payments on your loan which is overdue. Margaret

      Actually, Margaret, it's fine (and advisable) for Dickson to inform his lenders about the reason there aren't any payments from him reflecting on his account.

      However, you're correct that in order to get assistance from the Staff (www.zidisha.org/team), he would need to click on the HELP link in his account to send them a private message with all of the pertinent details about the problem (by selecting the "Payment Not Credited" option, which would give him a text-box to type a private message to them, instead of referring him to the public Forum as many of the other help topics do). Dickson already is aware of this, if you review the message he posted here on this page on March 4th.

      Dickson, I would recommend that you follow up on your communications with the Staff to remind them that you still need help from them.

      Yes is true the reason is that I made my first payment of Ghc 182 to Zidisha but they have wrongly credited a debt I know nothing about so I have gone for my statement which will be sent to them by tomorrow for them to rectify the mistake before I pay the difference. Thank you

          Sorry guys I travelled to a place where there no Internet. However, I have asked the zidisha team to send me their email address so that I can send the soft copy of my Mobile money statement for them to rectify the error but they replied I should take a picture of the soft copy which is not possible.The team are rather not corperating

    I applied a loan about a week ago and was declined that same day meanwhile I have a very good record. I had a reply that it was a technical error but my dashboard still shows that my loan is declined. It does not allow me to even make a new loan proposal.
    I therefore ask the support team to help me out becauseI know you are doing the best job

    There was a problem with my internet on the 5th of December 2018. This made me to apply many times for a loan. I though it was not going through but it was not intentional. When the internet was ok it picked all the pictures and applications.
