My name is Jonathan Mwaniki, I hail from Makueni County, Kathonzweni Sub-County, Muusini Location, Mbavi village. I'm passionate in fruit farming agribusiness. l also integrate this with vegetables growing which take a shorter period to maximize profit. Besides, I am also introducing poultry farming for both egg and meat production. This will go along with fruit tree production and vegetables growing for they will mutually benefit from each other through production of manure and the crop production being a good source for fodder and improvement. This will be achieved by having a borehole in place. After the bore the water will be supplied to my farm, construct a water tower, piping done and tanks installed in the farm. To have sustainable water use, the farm shall embrace use of drip irrigation which is effective and efficient. To conserve environment, the farm will use green energy that least pollutes the environment. It will use solar or wind energy to pump the water from the borehole.
Sales from the farm produce which will include trays of eggs, green leafy vegetables such as kales, spinach, onions and tomatoes. The farm will also sell the chicken for meat and will be selling milk from the farm
