About Me

My name is Waiganjo Wilfred, I was born and brought up in Nyeri, Kenya. After my primary and secondary education I enrolled for undergraduate degree and graduated in 2007. Am family man and a Construction manager by profession. Am also a farmer by passion having been born and brought up in the village. I have worked for several firms and have personal interest in low cost housing and environmental friendly projects. Some of the environment projects I have started and still undertaking in my farm are water recycling, waste disposal, tree planting and solar installation. In farming I do poultry, cattle for milk production and growing various seasonal plants.

My Business

I am a farmer and a construction manager by profession.
In construction I engage in Construction related jobs such as project management, supervision and contracting as a building contractor and offering construction management services. In my building career I developed an interest in environmental projects such as water recycling, treatment, and solar installation. I have therefore managed to incorporate the same environmental projects in my farm.
Am also a passionate farmer dealing with crops such as maize, beans, kales, wheat, greens and fruits.
For animals I rear chicken (egg layers) and cows for milk production.

Project Proposal

I intend to buy a biogas machine which turns organic waste materials and waste water including food scraps and animal manure into biogas. The machine has a system to treat waste and produce biogas, which is excellent in cooking.
This will assist in saving firewood, charcoal and cost of cooking gas used each day. Thank you as you back my project.

    Dear my team,
    Thank you so much for backing my project proposal. I will purchase pond liner materials and install to assist in harvesting and storing water. This will enable me to farm during the dry seasons and also plant long season plants which takes time to grow cutting across both the rainy and dry seasons.     Thank you so much my backers, i used the finances to excavate and construct a natural waste digester and compost pit. It will assist in collection and decomposition of kitchen waste and animals waste for use as organic fertilizer in the farm. ..Thank you.

    I want make a natural waste digester and compost pit. The purpose is process the kitchen waste, litter and biodegradable waste. The final product will organic fertilizer that i will use in the farm. This will reduce waste volume, avoid burning of these waste, decrease disposal costs, and create a nutrient-rich farm..Thank you so much for backing my project.
