About Me

My name is Veronica mbatha mbinya 24 yrs old from Kenya. I am a child of a single mother with a younger sibling in primary school class seven. I graduated with a Diploma in supply chain in the year 2019.I came across one of your post regarding a client who zidisha assisted to boost his business. As a business person I felt touched by the whole idea when I read more about zidisha and how it operates. I am joining this platform in order to help me expand my business and raise profit as well as help other people in future who want to boost or start their businesses. My late father left me a recreational business which mainly includes sporting activities like bouncing castle, toy train, climbing wall, cycling and archery.The business is located at Ruiru 16Km from the city centre Nairobi. I have been doing this businessfro. the year 2021 to now in order to provide for my mother and sister as well as pay her school fees among other needs. As a sole bread winner in our family the responsibilities on my shoulders increase as time goes by hence the need to increase my income. After the just concluded general elections in my country, business is rising slowly once again and the number of clients are increasing daily. In our line of business we expect alot of customers during the weekends, and even weekdays when children are in their holidays. Due to this fact we expect business to grow especially as we approach the end of the year and Christmas holidays. As a result I have learnt the need to add an extra bouncing castle for kids because the current one hosts 10-15 kids resulting to alot of clients unable to wait their turn. I also needed an extra hand therefore I hired an assistant to help me. It is my prayer that you will help me realise my dream to grow my business in order to provide for my family and also offer employment to others. Any assistance will be highly appreciated and repaid to help another person. Thank you.

My Business

I run a recreational business at Ruiru just 16Km from Nairobi the capital city of Kenya. It includes bouncing castle, toy train, wall climbing, cycling and archery. Over the recent years the number of clients have been increasing hence the need to expand my business. I managed to purchase a toy train in the year 2020 from the profits I got. Later on in the year 2021 I added an archery as another sporting activity to lure more customers. My goal in 2022 was to add another bouncing castle in order to hold more childrens since the current one takes a maximum of 15 children. However, due to political stability in our country due to the just concluded elections in August 2022 business was low for a period of six months to the elections and I didn't manage to save enough for the bouncing castle. Right now the business is picking and hence the need to acquire the bouncing castle to attract more clients. The cost of the bouncing castle is KES 57,000 (second hand) and I have managed to save KES 30,000. This is the reason I am coming to you in order to raise the remaining amount of KES 27,000. I will really appreciate any support towards meeting my target in order to expand my business and also create employment to others
