Hi everyone i just received my loan but instead of the amount i requested of ksh 57,362 i have received ksh 43,862.I have sent the zidisha team an email for more clarification.

I have been deducted ksh 13500 which i thought its for people who are requesting loan for the first time.I have had my account for a longtime and when joining i was deducted the commitment fee.Am waiting for a feedback will let you know when i get a response.

How Will an Orthodontist Correct your Child's Jaw Growth Problem?


Some children have disproportional growth between their lower and upper jaws, making it difficult for their teeth to fit. Jaw growth problems can also affect your child’s smile. An orthodontist will correct jaw growth inconsistencies in your child, improving their smile and chewing ability.


Palatal Expansion Appliance


If your child’s upper jaw is too narrow to allow their upper teeth and lower teeth to fit properly, an orthodontist can suggest a palatal expansion appliance to correct the problem.
The palatal expansion appliance is attached to their upper back teeth. This device will widen your child’s upper jaw. It creates room for other permanent teeth to grow.
The device is non-removable and your child may take a while to adjust to it. They may have additional saliva once the device is attached. Some children have a slight lisp but this usually goes away after their tongue adjusts to the device.
Your child may find it difficult to chew after the orthodontist fixes the appliance especially in the initial days. This is because it covers their chewing surfaces. Bionator


Your orthodontist may also suggest a bionator to correct jaw growth issues in your child. This is a plastic device that is used to stimulate your child’s lower jaw to grow forward. It will also restrain the growth of their upper jaw
The bionator will help your child’s lower jaw to grow in proportion to their upper jaw, improving their bite.
The orthodontist will create impressions of your child’s lower and upper teeth to construct the bionator. It may take a few days for your child to get accustomed to the appliance. The device can affect speech for a while.
Unlike the palatal expansion appliance, the bionator is removable. The bionator should be removed before your child brushes their teeth. The appliance also needs regular cleaning because food particles can get stuck on it, causing gum problems and dental decay. Use some toothpaste and a toothbrush to clean it.


Headgear


An orthodontist can also use headgear to deal with jaw growth problems in your child. This device will apply pressure to their upper jaw and teeth.
The headgear is designed to guide the direction and rate at which the upper jaw grows and the upper teeth erupt. It is removable like the bionator and your child can wear it for between 10 and 12 hours in a day.
Jaw growth problems in children have to be addressed before their teeth and jaw stop growing. An orthodontist will examine your child and determine the most appropriate appliance to correct their problem.
